a girl bought me a justin bieber magazine as a joke.  i just saw it on the floor and began to sing “boyfriend” but i couldnt remember the words so i sang(and danced),

I then proceeded to laugh at myself

so i was just sitting around in my room listening to new music then i decided i should practice.  i started off just reading down In A Mellow Tone by Duke Ellington.  Then I decided to read something a little harder.  My teacher gave me this bop solo kind of thing over rhythm changes called Naptown Cookin.  Then in the middle of reading that I decided to write a tune.  So far I like it.  It will probably be a simple ABA kind of thing.  Wish i had a piano in my room, that would really help
